The installer is EV code-signed by Genius Holdings Co., Ltd Taiwan Branch. Browsers may show a download notice while the release is new — this is normal.
About serial activation
After installation, the software must be activated with a serial. Serials are currently given only through designated ASUS campaigns — after you buy an eligible model, registration, review and serial delivery are all handled by ASUS under its campaign process. This site does not review requests or issue serials. Other ways to buy will be offered in the future; timing will be announced separately.

Armor EdgeAI verifies your machine automatically at launch — no spec sheets to cross-check. If your machine is an eligible campaign model and you hold an activation serial, you're set.

First launch verifies your machine automatically, then guides you through serial activation — about a minute in total.
Recommended hardware
Every module runs on standard configurations; a discrete GPU and more RAM improve image generation and larger models. The app recommends models to match your hardware.
Before buying, make sure the model is on the eligible list above; whether it is actually supported is decided by the automatic check at launch.
03 — Steps
Setup flow
- 01Download and installDownload the installer from this page and run it, about 200 MB; launch Armor EdgeAI and it verifies your machine automatically.
- 02Read & agreeFirst launch shows the EULA and Privacy Policy — written in plain language. The key point: your data stays on your computer.
- 03Activate with your serialEnter the activation serial sent to your email; it binds to this machine. Activation needs the network once, for about a minute.
- 04Pick features, download modelsChoose models for the modules you want (the app recommends based on your hardware); the download room shows progress and ETA. After that, everything works fully offline.
04 — Upgrade
Already on 0.x? Here's how to move to 1.0
Version 0.63.7 updates to 1.0 right inside the app, with no need to run the installer again; your data moves into the new version on first launch. Later minor updates are handled by the app in the same way.
Press Update in the app
In 0.63.7 the sidebar shows an update prompt for version 1.0.0; press it and confirm, and the app downloads and applies the update, then reopens in the same window. You do not need to enter your serial again.
Use the installer in these cases
If you are on a version older than 0.63.7, if the in-app update fails (for example, the app reports that this version previously failed to start), or if this computer cannot reach the update service, download the installer from this page, close Armor EdgeAI completely and run it; there is no need to uninstall the old version first, and your data is kept.
Wait for the data upgrade to finish
First launch moves your chats, settings and each tool's records into the new version and shows progress; models and engines you already downloaded are not downloaded again. When it finishes, the app restarts itself once. Closing it midway is fine — it carries on the next time you open it.
Your old data is left untouched
The upgrade only reads the old version's folder and never changes it. Once you're sure the new version works, you can decide under "Settings → Storage and data" whether to remove it.
If you use local network access
From 1.0, other devices on your local network need an API key to make calls. After upgrading, create a key on the "API Configuration" page and enter it in your tools; programs on this computer are not affected.
If the terms have been updated, the first launch after upgrading asks you to read and agree to them again.

Try other models anytime via the model manager; storage usage is always visible.
Your data, in your keeping
"Settings → Storage and data" can export your chats, settings and each tool's records as one backup file, and restore it in full when you need to.

Use the built-in "Report a Problem" with redacted diagnostic logs; we follow up by email.
